FEBRUARY 9th
God, You give me inner peace,
It is such a joy,
To realise we all are one,
I am a grateful boy;
To know this universe,
Is a macrocosm of me,
This knowledge dear God,
Fills my heart with glee.
“Dear God, let me be like a blade of grass in your wind.” St. FRANCIS of ASSISI.
I played sport dear God,
Of every sort and kind,
Playing them,
Certainly calmed my mind;
To run, jump or walk,
Kept me fit and able,
But praying to You lovely God,
Keeps my mind stable.
“Experience is the best of school masters, only the school fees are heavy.” THOMAS CARLYLE.
Dear God, You give me hands,
To touch and to feel,
And when I use them to help others,
It makes me happy feel;
You also give me legs,
To run, stroll or walk,
And now when I do,
All I want to do, is to others about You lovingly talk.
"Whoever is happy will make others happy too." ANNE FRANK.
I think everyone should try yoga,
And also try to meditate,
To help find the peace within,
To find God their Creator and Mate;
I would recomend them to anyone,
They could even be taught at school,
To find peace within ourselves,
They are each a wonderful spiritual tool.
"Meditation is the way for nourishing and blossoming the divinity within you." AMIT RAY.
