FEBRUARY 16th
Whilst I am alive,
May I always strive,
To make my life a work of art,
In tune with God’s loving heart;
For God’s love flows through me,
Every artery and vein,
To look for happiness elsewhere,
Is to look for it in vain.
“The longest journey is the journey inward.” DAG HAMMARSKJOLD.
Cock-a-doodle, cock-a-doodle,
The cockerel says to me and you,
How are you this morning,
And what are you going to do;
First, I'm going to hop out of bed,
And get humbly on my knees,
And thank lovely God for everything,
Including chips and peas.
If your desires you shackle, your life is no longer a hassle.
Dear God, may my heart blossom,
With lots of love for You,
May it expand daily,
May it be present in all I say or do;
May it happily glow,
With my every heart-beat,
And may I be filled with Your love,
From my head to my feet.
"A man's true wealth is the good that he does in this world to his fellows." MUHAMMAD.
God gives love freely,
And so I must,
I must do it constantly,
Without any fus;
For freely we receive,
Freely we must give,
Ideals to go by,
As long as we live.
"When there are thoughts, it is distraction: when there are no thoughts, it is meditation." RAMANA MAHARSHI.
