FEBRUARY 18th
God within us does lovingly dwell,
Wanting us to be happy and well,
For years I looked for joy elsewhere,
Untill one day “God I need You” I did yell;
Pain had stopped me in my track,
I had to change my path or tack,
A spiritual life I most certainly did lack,
And lovely God welcomed me back.
“Meditation is the destruction of attachment, and this is the goal.” HINDU PHILOSOPHY.
Dearest lovely God,
May my only idea or notion,
Be to worship You,
With complete and utter devotion;
Passing on the love,
You so generously give,
Helping others always,
So long as I shall live.
“Unless you become like a little child, you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” MATTHEW 18:3
I used to moan about God,
I used to criticise,
I wasn't very sensible,
I wasn't very wise;
Then pain taught me,
To take a different tack,
To connect my life to God,
And since then I've never looked back.
"The happiness of your life, depends upon the quality of your thoughts; therefore guard accordingly." MARCUS AURELIUS.
Knowledge of God,
Destroys all doubt,
Your heart will be happy,
With joy you'll shout;
You will no longer be weak,
You'll be firm and strong,
Your doubts will vanish,
You'll go serenely along.
