APRIL 9th
Be constantly aware,
That your real purpose in life,
Is to connect with your maker,
And help others have less strife;
Doing good deeds each day,
Without any thought of praise,
Living a humble life,
As other spirits you raise.
“No one ever grew poor by giving alms.” ITALIAN PROVERB.
God you give me a voice,
With the world may it rejoice,
Saying words of happiness,
Words uplifting and choice;
May You it constantly praise,
Helping peoples' spirits raise,
All guided by love for You,
And the beauty You bring into view.
“My heart is so intoxicated with love that I have no wish to speak.” KABIR.
Guide us dearest God,
Guide us through the day,
May we not go asunder,
Or get lost or go astray;
With your ideal to lead us,
With your love to guide,
Life becomes so much easier,
As through life we glide.
"The love you take is equal to the love you make." THE BEATLES.
There is a power that sparkles,
With God's divine light,
It's our very own spirit,
It makes things nice and bright;
It needs to be daily nourished,
By prayer and meditation,
So that it can spread its joy to others,
People of every nation.
"The soul is healed by being with children." DOSTOVESKY.
