NOVEMBER 27th
The beauty that is within us,
Is constantly given by God,
I thought joy was found externally,
Wasn’t that slightly odd;
Now I know that everything,
Including every breath I take,
Is given by lovely God,
Our best friend and mate.

Daily I thank God for my liver,
And the good blood it does deliver,
Also for my heart,
Asking that everything I do is His work of art;
I also thank Him for my lungs and kidneys,
My limbs and organs so fine,
In fact I thank Him for every cell,
And for inner peace, joy and sunshine.

i was an ungrateful lad,
Very rarely glad,
I always wanted more,
Resentments I had by the score:
Life has shown me,
That I've actually gifts in perfusion,
Gifts from head to toe,
I now thank God daily for not living in delusion.
