I am part of the Irish Diaspora,
What a fancy name,
It doesn't matter what they call me,
I'd still feel the same;
I am a child of God,
Born in Nineteen forty-five,
To two lovely Irish parents,

How do we connect,
Well I only came to Him/Her,
When I was a spiritual wreck;
I had tried to sail life my way,
But on the rocks I did end,
It forced me to ask God for help,
And He welcomed me back as a friend.
