DECEMBER 22nd
Children keep things simple,
They don't hold a grudge for long,
May I be like a child,
And move serenely along;
May I live in the moment,
This is easiest done by prayer,
Constant repetition of a mantra,
Brings control not despair.
“The great man is he who does not lose his child’s heart.” MENICUS.
At one time, I was poor in spirit,
I didn't show much light,
I was always thinking of myself,
That wasn't very bright;
Pain again brought me to a low ebb,
I needed to be re-charged,
Then I surrendered myself to God,
And my spirit started to enlarge.
“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” MATTHEW 22:39
The sun provides light,
God keeps us bright,
The moon moves the waves,
God's love saves;
We're all part of His creation,
His love fills every nation,
By day and night,
His love keeps us bright.
"The glow of one warm thought, is to me worth more than money." THOMAS JEFFERSON.
My life used to be so complex,
Always on the go,
Now it is more spiritual,
It helps reduce my ego;
I am now more contented,
My mind has more rest,
I enjoy this life-style better,
I think it is the best.
