NOVEMBER 29th
Looking at a skeleton,
Particularly of a dinosaur,
Seeing the wonder of its construction,
Makes the mind soar;
To think of its evolution,
The size of its frame,
The brilliance of its creation,
How can you put on God a name.

I used to think owning things,
Would bring joy and happiness,
But the more I strived for things,
The more my life became a mess;
I now realise that everything I 'own,'
Does come at a cost,
And the more I think I 'own' things,
The more my spirit is lost.

My body is a God given miracle,
But I often treated it with contempt,
Putting silly things into it,
Until all my money was spent;
This caused me lots of pain,
I had physical problems galore,
Until one day I asked God for help,
And my spirit and health started to soar.

Pray, pray, pray,
Pray every day,
Pray, pray, pray,
But what words does one say?;
Say words of gratitude,
Even make up your own prayers,
Saying words like 'God I love You' or 'Thank You God,'
Will help remove all cares.
Dearest lovely God, rather than be on the make, may I give rather than take.
