DECEMBER 23rd
Saying God’s sweet name,
I now find a joy,
Saying it constantly,
Makes me a happy boy;
To have God on my mind,
Instead of a bad thought or deed,
Makes for a happier life,
It doe indeed, indeed, indeed.
“He that is of a merry heart, hath a continual feast.” PROVERBS 15:15.
For your spirit to raise,
God continuously praise,
Every single moment,
Throughout all of your days;
This I now do,
Continuously,
By asking for God's help,
One obtains peace and serenity..
To happily live, always forgive.
I was a 'pioneer,'
Took the non-drinking pledge,
Until the day I took a drink,
And later fell over the ledge;
I went for the ways of the world,
Looking there for glee,
Until pain forced me to look for help,
And You welcomed me back to Thee.

God be my companion,
You whom I adore,
May You be my every thought,
For You are my core;
But my mind can be distracted,
It can go here and there,
But thinking always of You dear God,
Takes away every care.
