Happy Healing Poetry

Daily words of hope & inspiration

A little hope for today

January 1

JANUARY 1st

Learn to forgive,

Easier said than done,

But if we don’t do it,

Life won’t be much fun;

For a grudge blocks the channel,

From us to lovely God,

So we must pray for whoever upsets us,

Even though at first this may seem slightly odd.

It's easier for God to be your pal, if your honest and moral.

Daily kneeling,

Gives a happy feeling,

Helps the spirit glow,

Enhances spiritual healing;

It helps us connect with God,

When we get on our knees,

Thanking Him for His love,

Asking for His guidance please.

“Do not think of the faults of others, but what is good in them, and faulty in yourself.”            St. THERESA of AVILA.

To be one with God,

Must be considered the ideal,

To realise He's our every heart-beat,

This we must aim to feel;

To know He's our every atom,

Every muscle and sinnew,

Thank You lovely God,

May I always be thinking of You.

"Learn to be silent. Let your quite mind listen and absorb."  PYTHAGORUS.

For years I thought I was just a body,

I didn't think about my soul,

My life was never happy,

My life was never whole;

I was always trying to make my body happy,

I never did really succeed,

Until I realised the importance of my soul,

Man's primary need

For your spirit to raise, God constantly praise.

AUGUST 13th

Always aim high
Never ever sigh,
It helps your spirit zoom,
Allows it to fly;
Allows it to love,
Every single thing,
To praise God’s name,
To worship and sing.

“Never do to others, what would pain thyself.” HINDUISM.

Words are very powerful,
So fill them with God's grace,
Say His divine name,
In every single place;
Wherever you are,
Repeat His name constantly,
Radiatings His love to all,
Filling them with glee.

“The sinner sins against himself, the wrong doer wrongs himself, becoming worse by his actions.” MARCUS AURALIUS.

To say I never have a bad thought,

Would be a lie,

But if they arrive I have to try harder,

Not just sit there or sigh;

I have to put my shoulder,

A bit harder to the wheel,

And with prayer to lovely God,

Spiritually happy again soon feel.

"It is not your outward appearance that you should beautify, but your soul, sdorning it with good works." CLEMENT of ALEXANDRIA.

I aim to have on my mind,

Only good thoughts,

The way I should spiritually live,

The way I certainly ought;

Easier said than done,

But life will be more fun,

If I put others first,

Put them as number one.
