MAY 28th
To walk in the snow,
Feeling God’s glow,
Seeing His beauty,
Wherever we go;
It's in each snowflake,
Every breath we take,
Thank You lovely God,
For this world You did make.
“Conventional opinion is the ruin of our souls.” RUMI.
Dear God, may I be pleasant and humble,
May I never be upset or grumble,
Saying things with grace not a mumble,
And with thoughts harmonious not a jumble;
May I be full of gratitude,
Always happy, never rude,
May I never ever be crude,
And may my life produce friendliness never a feud.
To write, “God I love you” in the snow, will give you a happy spiritual glow.
Dear God, I never have thought I'd be grateful,
For all my days of sorrow,
Days when I saw no future,
No happy tomorrow;
But then I was arrogant,
I thought I could do life on my own,
Until pain made me teachable,
Allowing spiritual things to me be shown.
