Honesty is a virtue,

Dear God, may I be like a child in all that I do,
Allow me to show my love for the wonder of You,
Let me laugh, run, jump, skip like a child,
For then my spirit is loving not running wild;
It allows me to help all that I see,
For they are Your children just like me,
May I have this ability is all I ask,
For childlike enthusiasm makes me equal to any task.
May my daily goal be to exercise my soul.
The spiritual life is not a theory,
It is a fact,
We have to do our own actions,
Each day we must act;
No one else can do them for us,
We each have to do our part,
Only by doing them ourselves,
Do we get a calm loving heart.
