Dear God, meeting people with a positive vibe,
Fills me with gratitude for being alive,
For being part of the human race,
May Your love be reflected upon my face;
For You are my heartbeat, You are my pulse,
I love You constantly, it's not an impulse,
And all I have to do, is give Your love away,
To everyone, everywhere, every second of the day.

It's great to meditate,
I try to do it at least once a day,
All to help pass on God's love,
In a very beautiful way;
For meditation is spiritual food,
It is a divine feast,
Allowing us to connect with You,
And from our ego be released.

Things will occure,
Circumstances will arise,
But I must always be connected to You,
That's the words of the wise;
I should have always heeded this,
But for years I went my own way,
It was very, very tough,
Each and every Godless day.

In my youth and middle-age,
I would move around,
On a sports-field or dance-floor,
I would often be found;
I did few spiritual things,
My inner life I didn't enhance,
It's only when I asked God for help,
That I started to realise His divine providence.
