AUGUST 27th
Wish good to all,
To every single being,
That we're all happy and healthy,
With our spirits constantly singing;
That we all spiritually glow,
Wherever we may go,
Realising God’s eternal love,
Which to others we lovingly show.
“Great men are they who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force - that thoughts rule the world.” RALPH WALDO EMERSON.
Just as the wave is part of the Ocean,
I am part of Thee,
I am part of the sun,
In fact I'm part of everything I see;
For God is my shadow,
He's also my voice,
He's everything in the world,
And for that I rejoice.
“Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still.” CHINESE PROVERB.
Dear lovely God,
Each of us is Your son,
May our hearts beat with Yours,
In perfect unison;
May every day we be connected,
May we flow with Your tide,
Realising Your always with us,
Always by our side.
"The soul is the same in all living creatures, although the body of each is different." HIPPOCRATES.
The Serenity Prayer asks for serenity,
Something evertbody does crave,
I thought it could be found in alcohol,
Or a midnight rave;
But it can only be found through meditation and prayer,
And leading a spiritual life,
The opposite to what I used to do,
My old life only caused me strife.
" The ideal is in thyself, the impediment too is thyself." THOMAS CARLYLE.
