SEPTEMBER 6th
To think we are just this body,
Is a blatant fallacy,
It is continuously changing,
So is everything we see;
There has to be a constant,
Something internal,
People call it the soul,
Something that's eternal.
'Begin to think rightly, “I am all-pervading immortal Soul" - this is right thinking.' SIVANANDA.
Dearest lovely God,
Guide me along the road,
Take away all my desires,
For each is a heavy load;
Let me continue to realise,
The knowledge of the wise,
That You are internal,
You are my soul, my kernel.
"Past and future are in the mind only - I am now." SRI NISARGADATTA MAHARAJ.
Dearest lovely God,
Who is changeless,
A wonderful fact about You,
For which we're blessed;
For Your always constant,
Always the same,
How on Your beauty,
Can we ever put a name?
"Laughter is a sunbeam of the soul." THOMAS MANN.
Dear lovely God, You give me this body,
The place you live in,
You allow me free-will to look after it,
To fill it with prayer, energy and vim;
At one time it was very weak,
I hadn't kept it in proper repair,
Then I humbly asked for help,
And Your love gave me health and spiritual care.
"The only burden you've ever had is your own mind." ROBERT ADAMS.
