SEPTEMBER 8th
Thank You dear God for my voice,
Which I should always use to rejoice,
Praising You constantly,
Should certainly be my choice;
Thank You also for my mind,
Which I use to meditate,
Praying that everything I say,
Praises You my friend and mate.
To help your spiritual cure, pray that what you read is pure.
I've often felt like a kid,
Living in a body,
Even today,
I feel it's only a house or lobby;
I now realise,
That this is so true,
For my body is a vessel,
That contains lovely You.
"We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are." THE TALMOND.
I have a 'teacher,'
Someone to help me along,
A spiritual advisor,
To keep my spirit on song;
I would suggest we all need one,
For we can't do life on our own,
Someone to help us put into practice,
The spiritual truths we've been shown.
"The real spiritual progress of the aspirant is measured by the extent to which he achieves inner tranquility." SIVANANDA.
All religions come from the same source,
Our wonderful Creator,
The Divinity who made us,
God our wonderful Maker;
You'd think we'd all get on,
But that's often not the way,
So I pray for everyone,
Each and every day.
"The more we come and do good to others, the more our hearts will be purified, and God will be in them." VIVEKANANDA.
