SEPTEMBER 23rd
Every time you walk,
Every time you talk,
Say a little prayer,
Have a good thought;
Say them quite,
Say them loud,
Be always praying,
Don't be proud.
"Purity, patience, and perseverance are the three essentials to success and above all love." VIVEKANANDA.
When I look at the sea,
My heart is filled with glee,
For everywhere I look,
I know contains Thee;
For You are the water,
You are the air,
May I see Your reflection,
Everywhere.
"Man is free at the moment he wishes to be." VOLTAIRE.
Saying the word God,
Brings peace and serenity,
Helps calms the mind,
And happiness and glee;
Constantly repeating it,
Saying it again and again,
Brings peace and joy,
And reduces pain.
"Our own life is the instrument with which we experiment with the truth." THICH NHAT HANH.
To grow spiritually,
At a simple life we should aim,
By continuously thinking of others,
We avert lots of pain;
For when we think of ourselves,
Instead of those around,
We can think the world is a minefield,
Instead of a place happy and sound.
"Lust, anger and greed, are the three doors to hell." BHAGAVAD GITA.
