On your life journey,
Try not to anyone upset,
Be nice to one and all,
To anyone ever met;
Be always pleasant,
Caring with a smile,
Praying for those you meet,
As you travel every mile.

Dearest lovely God,
Beautiful essence,
Allow my mind to be calm,
To enjoy Your presence;
To realise Your all around,
Happy and sound,
That Your everywhere,
And in all of us can be found.

As I have for breath,
May every thought that's not of God,
Make me feel bereft;
May my mind on Him fix,
May it not wander,
As I realise His beauty,
As I realise His wonder,
Having God as your mate, is surely the ultimate.
