Never be contentious,
Aim to be equitable,
Praying for those around you,
That they are all happy and stable;
Aim to be helpful,
Be grateful all the time,
Praying constantly to God,
For His love, joy and sunshine.

I saw a little puppy,
A lovely, lovely pet,
A four legged friend,
Bringing happiness to all he met;
I saw him in the park,
Bringing joy to all around,
God willing I do likewise,
Making peoples' days happy and sound.

If you want to be fine,
Always praise the Divine,
Beautiful God,
Who makes everything fine;
Who gives us peace,
And a happy mind,
If we're humble before Him,
And to others be kind.

I'm sorry to relate,
I left it rather late,
Before a connection with God,
I started to cultivate;
It was always there,
But I was absurd,
I denied His existence,
With many an action and word.
