NOVEMBER 5th
To be close to God,
Should always be my aim,
But my ego often gets in the way,
And this brings pain;
By being always humble,
With lots of gratitude,
I know that these actions,
Will lead to a God given attitude.

God I love You,
For every magnificent thing,
The birds, the bees,
The wonderful trees;
All made with loving care,
By your wonderful hand,
Thank you lovely God,
For everything in this beautiful land.
Surrender your ego, and find the inner spiritual glow.
What is prayer,
I'd like to think it's passing on a good thought,
To everyone I meet or greet,
People of every sort;
Residents of every nation,
Every colour and hue,
Knowing that we're all part,
Of ever wonderful You.

Serve the sick,
Serve the poor,
Serve the neglected,
God adore;
Do it daily,
In fact do it all the time,
Praising God constantly,
Passing on His peace, joy, love and sunshine.
