NOVEMBER 6th
Churches or Temples,
Places of repose,
Sometimes I sit,
Sometimes I doze;
Places of tranquillity,
Beautiful nice and quite,
Visiting them often,
Is pure delight.
“All the way to heaven is heaven.” St CATHERINE of SIENNA.
'God I love You, God I love You,'
I love to say these words,
'God I love You, God I love You,'
They now never seem absurd;
'God I love You, God I love You,'
You make my life complete,
'God I love You, God I love You,'
I love to say and repeat.
“God inhabits every soul.” St JOHN of the CROSS.
Be of good cheer,
And you will hear,
The beauty of God,
Who holds you so dear;
Sure things will happen,
That may disturb you,
But aim to be always pleasant,
In all that you say and do.
"I am part of all that I have met." TENNYSON.
My head is now peaceful,
It is now at rest,
I tried to find happiness in the world,
I tried my very best;
But whatever I tried,
I always ended up in pain,
It was only by surrendering to God,
That a happy spiritual life did I gain.
A spiritual exercise, never criticise.
