NOVEMBER 10th
To see God in a rain drop,
Or a ray of light,
To see God everywhere,
Makes everything bright:
To realise this world is one,
Everything connected,
That everything is right,
Everything perfected.
“Speak when you are angry, and you will make the best speech you will ever regret." WILLIAM G. BENHAM.
God, may my love for you,
Continue all life through,
May I show it to all I meet,
With a happy smile to all I greet;
May I pass it on,
By word, action or song,
Giving it all away,
As I go happily along.
“He who forgives, ends the quarrel.” AFRICAN PROVERB..
God's love does heal,
Makes the spirit happy feel,
Gives a golden glow,
With you wherever you may go;
I used to disparage it,
Felt it couldn't be true,
Wasn't I silly,
But pain brought me back to You.
"No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself." ISLAMIC SPIRITUALITY.
A great health cure,
Is to aim to be calm and pure,
With nothing on your mind,
You've no problems to endure;
Easier said than done,
But the benefits are immense,
It gives a golden glow,
It makes life less tense.
"The highest teaching in the world is silence." ROBERT ADAMS.
