NOVEMBER 12th
I realise that what I eat,
Contains the energy of the sun,
I pray it fills my body,
With health, joy and fun:
Health to help pass on,
God's beauty which within I have found,
And fun and joy,
To help carry my body happily around.
"Within you is the hidden God, like butter in milk, the oil in the seed." SIVANANDA.
It's very difficult to control the mind,
To keep it serene and kind,
It's best done with prayer,
For prayer dissolves every care;
Asking God for help,
Every second of the day,
Helps still the mind,
As we travel on life's broad highway.
As you climb every stair, say a little prayer.
God, may all I do,
Be done for love of You,
Knowing Your with me,
All life through;
Things done with love,
Each and every day,
Helping others always,
Along life's broad highway.
"Just as a candle, cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life." BUDDHA.
Some people call it the soul,
Others the energy force,
The God given bit within me,
Our wonderful life source;
It's there in all of us,
It's from where we came,
To live this life without looking for it,
Is a tremendous shame.
"Close both eyes and see with the inner eye." RUMI.
